Bradley Bullock from California became a millionaire after three consecutive lucky days. On the first day, he hit a jackpot at a local casino worth $2,000. However, the very next day, fortune smiled upon him again when a lottery ticket brought him a staggering $10 million.
Bullock shared with representatives from the California Lottery that the morning after his casino win, he woke up craving a pick-me-up. "I managed to get a bit of sleep since I didn't have to work, but I needed a little caffeine boost. So, I had an energy drink and a couple of lollipops," he recounted. He then decided to buy two scratch-off lottery tickets that were on sale at a 7-Eleven store.
Later that same day, he scratched off the tickets and discovered that one of them, Royal Riches, had won him $10 million. "I knew I had won even before I scratched it off because I scanned the barcode with the lottery app. But I wanted to check if it was real!" Bullock admitted.
But the California resident's streak of luck didn't end there. The following evening, he went to the casino with a friend, and together they won $29,000. Bullock described this period as "three days of wild luck."
Representatives from the California Lottery confirmed that Bullock opted for a lump-sum payout, bringing his net winnings to $5.8 million.
Bullock wasn't the only one enjoying a stroke of luck in California. Recently, two other major lottery wins of $5 million each were reported in Orange and San Bernardino counties, all from scratch-off games.
In a related note, a visitor at a Mississippi casino won a jackpot on Friday the 13th.
