Camelot UK Lotteries Limited, the operator of the UK National Lottery, has announced that a claim has been made for a substantial jackpot. The Lotto Must Be Won prize amounts to £11,671,861 (approximately 1.35 billion rubles).
The draw took place on Saturday, and one resident of the United Kingdom has stepped forward to claim the grand prize. However, details about the winner, including their name, gender, and age, have not yet been disclosed.
Andy Carter, a representative of the National Lottery, expressed excitement over the jackpot being claimed, stating, "We are thrilled that this fantastic jackpot has been won. It has been an incredible month for big wins in Lotto. Another lucky player won a special jackpot of £20 million (around 2.3 billion rubles) in the Must Be Won draw on July 1. Who knows what awaits us in August! Right now, we are focused on supporting the new ticket holder with their multi-million-pound prize and helping them start enjoying this life-changing win."
The winning numbers for the lottery were 11, 14, 20, 35, 41, and 46, with a bonus number of 02. Additionally, four other participants in the draw each won £1 million (nearly 115.85 million rubles) by correctly guessing five out of six numbers plus the bonus.
In the Thunderball game, one lucky player won a prize of £500,000 (almost 58 million rubles). The winning numbers in this case were 05, 09, 22, 29, 31, with the special Thunderball being 07. As for the HotPicks lottery, the jackpot of £350,000 (40.5 million rubles) went unclaimed. This game uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw. However, seven participants who guessed four out of five numbers each won £13,000 (1.5 million rubles).
On Wednesday, July 26, a jackpot of approximately £2 million (231.7 million rubles) will be up for grabs. National Lottery representatives expressed hope that this prize will also find a winner.
