A lucky player from Dublin hit the jackpot by correctly guessing six numbers and one bonus number in the main lottery draw on Saturday evening, July 27. The winning numbers were 9, 19, 28, 35, 37, and 43, with the bonus number being 15. It has been confirmed that the winning ticket was purchased on July 25 at a store located on Long Mile Road in Walkinstown, Dublin.
The winner has 90 days to claim their prize before the funds are redirected to boost the next jackpot. All lottery participants are encouraged to double-check their numbers to see if they are the lucky recipient of this substantial prize.
In the recent draw, there were 94,000 winners across the Lotto and Lotto Plus games. The Dublin resident won the largest prize of €554,195 (approximately $590,000). This individual matched six regular numbers and one bonus number on their winning ticket.
A representative from the National Lottery stated, "The winning ticket was purchased on July 25 at The Kokonut on Long Mile Road in Walkinstown. We urge all our players to carefully check their numbers again. The winner should contact our prize claims team as soon as possible, and arrangements will be made for them to visit the lottery headquarters."
While the massive Lotto jackpot of €4,521,253 (around $4.8 million) went unclaimed on Saturday, there was still plenty of good news: over 94,000 players won prizes in Lotto and Lotto Plus. Eleven lucky players each took home €2,626 (about $2,800), while another 31 participants won €234 (approximately $250).
Other winners received less than €100 (around $110) or a free ticket. Additionally, there were 80 fortunate players who won a lottery prize of €500 (about $540). The winning number that brought in the cash was 2456.
In a related note, a rare card combination at a Las Vegas casino netted a visitor $423,000.
