A player hit the jackpot in Las Vegas by achieving one of the rarest combinations in Pai Gow poker—a seven-card straight flush in sequential order. The lucky visitor, named Nestor, left the Santa Fe Station casino with a substantial cash prize on May 4, coinciding with the global celebration of Star Wars Day.
According to casino representatives, Nestor won a progressive jackpot in Pai Gow poker amounting to $376,013 (30.38 million rubles). He also received an additional payout of $5,000 (404,000 rubles) thanks to a wager on the Fortune Bonus. Officials at Santa Fe Station noted that the combination Nestor achieved is considered one of the strongest and most elusive in the game.
Pai Gow, also known as poker with two hands, is inspired by Chinese dominoes and features combinations that are not possible in traditional Texas Hold'em.
The casino management congratulated Nestor with the following message: "May the Force be with Nestor! This morning, he hit the jackpot in Pai Gow poker with an epic seven-card straight flush. This combination earned him $376,013 (30.38 million rubles), along with a $5,000 (404,000 rubles) bonus. Now that's a victory!"
Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino is located in the northwest part of Las Vegas. The establishment operates 24/7, boasting a gaming area of 14,000 square meters that offers a wide range of entertainment options. Just two days before Nestor's triumph, another visitor at the complex also scored a significant payout of $10,308 (833,000 rubles) by hitting a royal flush in poker.
Meanwhile, a resident of Arizona also struck it big with a jackpot on the Wheel of Fortune slot machine.
