On July 20, an anonymous guest at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas won a staggering $423,018 (approximately 36.6 million rubles) thanks to a rare card combination in Fortune Pai Gow. The lucky player hit the jackpot by assembling a straight flush, which consists of seven consecutive cards of the same suit. In this unique blend of Chinese and American poker, the player needed seven cards to win, rather than the usual five. The winning hand included the 6, 7, 8, 9, Jack, Queen, and a Joker, all in hearts.
The straight flush is one of the rarest and strongest combinations in poker, earning the Palace Station guest $418,018 (around 36.2 million rubles). Additionally, the player received $5,000 (over 433,000 rubles) from a $5 (433 rubles) Fortune Bonus side bet.
Palace Station, which opened its doors in 1976, is the oldest gaming property in the Station Casinos portfolio. The casino features 1,600 slot machines, 45 table games, and a sportsbook. The hotel offers 576 rooms, along with various amenities including bars, restaurants, a swimming pool, parking for both cars and trucks, a gym, and more.
