A guest at the IP Casino Resort in Biloxi, Mississippi, recently hit a jackpot worth $126,555 (approximately 11.6 million rubles) on the Dollar Storm slot machine by Aristocrat Gaming. The lucky winner struck it rich on Friday the 13th.
Interestingly, the casino features a thirteenth floor, a relatively rare occurrence in the industry. Many establishments skip this number due to its superstition, often jumping from the twelfth to the fourteenth floor instead.
The Mississippi resident, who wished to remain anonymous, made a modest bet of $7.50 (688 rubles). This jackpot marks the second win of the year for IP Casino and the fourteenth for casinos in Biloxi since March 2024. Here are some notable wins:
On August 30, an anonymous guest at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino spent about an hour playing slots with bets ranging from $100 to $200 (9,180 to 18,360 rubles). One of those spins resulted in a $100,000 (9.18 million rubles) payout.
On July 31, an Alabama resident turned a $200 (18,360 rubles) bet into a jackpot of $160,000 (14.7 million rubles) while playing the $100 Pinball slot at Beau Rivage. Remarkably, it took just four spins to secure the big win.
On July 25, a guest named Peter H. at Harrah’s Gulf Coast in Biloxi won $290,521 (26.7 million rubles) by hitting a royal flush in a game of Face Up Pai Gow.
On July 21, another Alabama resident struck it lucky at Beau Rivage, where an $11.25 (1,032 rubles) bet on the Mo’ Mummy slot from Aristocrat Gaming netted them $205,163 (18.8 million rubles).
The IP Casino Resort opened its doors on December 22, 1997, originally named the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino Biloxi. In addition to the casino, the resort offers a hotel, nightclub, seven restaurants, conference rooms, a spa, and various other amenities.
In a related note, two visitors at a Las Vegas casino won $1 million each within a 24-hour period.
