American actor Neil Patrick Harris has appeared in an advertisement for the online casino Golden Nugget
In the ads, Harris takes on the role of a singer-pianist who travels through various locations, from a veterinary clinic to a deep-sea submarine. In each setting, he is seen at the piano serenading while others in the frame engage in gambling activities.
Harris is a well-known figure in the United States, having launched his career with the lead role in the ABC series "Doogie Howser, M.D.," which aired from 1989 to 1993. He is also recognized for his appearance in the "Harold & Kumar" film franchise, where he played a fictionalized version of himself. Additionally, Harris has hosted the Emmy and Oscar award ceremonies multiple times.
Golden Nugget operates in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Michigan, and New Jersey, offering over 500 slots and table games on its website and app.
The commercials featuring Harris, titled "Make Every Moment Golden," will air on television in states where Golden Nugget is present. The marketing campaign will also extend to social media, targeting users in legal iGaming markets.
Harris is not the only celebrity to be featured in advertising for online casinos; other stars include actors Kevin Hart and Vince Vaughn, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, and actress-singer Vanessa Hudgens.
Meanwhile, the Golden Nugget Las Vegas hotel and casino is hosting the Grand Poker Series from May 28 to July 1.
