On October 26, 2024, Australia held another draw for the Saturday Lotto, resulting in ten participants winning first division prizes totaling AUD 2 million (approximately RUB 127.8 million).
One of the winners, a resident of Saratoga who wished to remain anonymous, spoke to representatives from The Lott about her plans for the substantial windfall. "I’m going to buy a holiday home by the sea in a beautiful location. I’ll probably spend most of my time there now that I can quit my job," she shared.
Reflecting on the weekend's events, the winner recounted, "I checked my ticket, but I was so scared. I thought, 'What if they made a mistake?' I’m so happy it’s true."
She also expressed her joy at the number of winners, saying, "It’s wonderful that ten lucky people won this life-changing amount. I can’t believe I’m one of them."
The Saratoga resident purchased her ticket at Deepwater Plaza Newsagency. The main winning numbers for the Saturday Lotto draw 4515 were 1, 42, 43, 25, 35, and 29, with additional numbers 19 and 31.
In total, ten individuals shared the AUD 2 million prize. One ticket was purchased in Victoria, two in Western Australia, three winners hailed from Queensland, and four lucky individuals reside in New South Wales.
According to information on The Lott's official website, to win the first division in Saturday Lotto, all six main numbers on the ticket must match. The odds of this happening are 1 in 8,145,060.
In a related note, a Melbourne resident went nearly a week without checking an Oz Lotto ticket worth AUD 8 million.
