Great Canadian Entertainment, the largest gaming and hospitality company in Canada, has announced that The Arena, a 2,500-seat venue at the Pickering Casino Resort, will host a concert by Bryan Adams. The performance is scheduled for April 26, 2023.
The Pickering Casino Resort is the newest property from Great Canadian Entertainment. Located just minutes from Toronto, it boasts a sprawling 9,000-square-meter casino and a sportsbook operated by Great Canadian. The resort also features nine diverse restaurants offering a wide range of culinary options, as well as a luxurious hotel with 275 rooms.
The Arena will be utilized by Great Canadian Entertainment for a variety of entertainment, sports, and special events. The company believes there is no better artist to inaugurate the Pickering Casino Resort than Bryan Adams. Known for his charismatic stage presence, Adams has topped charts in numerous countries. He is also a recipient of the Order of Canada and has garnered multiple accolades, including three Academy Awards, five Golden Globe nominations, as well as Grammy and Juno Awards.
According to the Pickering Casino Resort, tickets for the concert will go on sale on March 17. However, members of the Great Canadian Rewards loyalty program will have early access, allowing them to purchase tickets starting March 16.
Matthew Anfinson, CEO of Great Canadian Entertainment, commented on Adams' upcoming performance: "His dynamic show will be the perfect way to showcase this venue and highlight our commitment to hosting a wide range of world-class events, from concerts to sports."
Meanwhile, applications for the SBC Summit North America First Pitch have officially opened.
