Popular country music artist Keith Urban is set to return to the Las Vegas Strip after a year-long hiatus, having signed a deal with the Fontainebleau casino. Urban will perform ten shows as part of his "Keith Urban’s High in Vegas" series at the BleauLive Theater, a state-of-the-art concert venue that accommodates 3,800 guests across three levels. The performances are scheduled in two segments: from October 4 to 12 and from February 14 to 22.
The Fontainebleau casino opened its doors on December 13, 2023, and prior to Urban's agreement, it hosted only one-off concerts. Fedor Banucci, the senior vice president of entertainment, noted, "We are looking for touring artists who can perform on weekends—someone who will come in and do two shows a quarter."
Urban has a history of performing at Las Vegas Strip casinos, having previously graced the stages of Caesars Palace and the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood. He will showcase music from his upcoming album, set to be released this fall, along with songs he has yet to perform live, including his new single "Messed Up As Me."
The artist has previously expressed that his shows aim to bring people together. "When I step on stage, I have a job—to unite everyone. My only task is to bring everyone together for two hours," he shared.
The Fontainebleau casino spans 16,100 square meters and features 1,300 slot machines, 128 table games, and a sportsbook. Guests can also enjoy a 67-story hotel with 3,644 rooms, a 51,000-square-meter convention center, and numerous bars and restaurants.
Additionally, the Golden Nugget Las Vegas will host the Grand Poker Series from May 28 to July 1.
