From $12,000 to $1.4 million: Major Casino Wins in the U.S. in May 2024

On May 21, a visitor at the Peppermill Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, won a staggering $1,206,622 (approximately 109.1 million rubles) playing the Golden Century Dragon Link slot machine from Aristocrat Gaming. This jackpot marks the largest payout in the casino's history. While the lucky winner has chosen to remain anonymous, it is known that the jackpot was won after a $25 (2,260 rubles) bet in the Peppermill’s High Limit gaming area. Scott Evans, the casino's director of slots, expressed excitement over the significant win, stating, "We are thrilled for our guest."
This victory was not the only notable win this month. On May 23, representatives from Snoqualmie Casino in Washington announced that a patron hit a jackpot of $1,401,765 (about 126.76 million rubles) on the Light & Wonder 5 Treasures Explosion slot, after placing a bet of $5.88 (531.7 rubles).
Earlier, on May 17, a visitor at Four Winds Casino New Buffalo in Michigan won $1,008,222 (91.2 million rubles) while playing the UFL Explosion slot with a $15 (1,356 rubles) bet. Mary Smith, the Chief Operating Officer of Four Winds Casinos, remarked that this jackpot has changed the winner's life.
On May 14, a Las Vegas resident, whose name has not been disclosed, placed a $250 (22,607 rubles) bet on the Double Double Bonus Poker machine at the Suncoast Hotel and Casino. The video poker session resulted in a remarkable payout of $200,000 (around 18 million rubles) after hitting a royal flush.
Additionally, on May 8, a Utah resident named Weslynn visited Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas and played bingo, winning $12,775 (1.16 million rubles). Weslynn has been playing bingo at this venue for 25 years.
It’s worth noting that a New Jersey resident also recently won $200,000 on the Ji Bao Xi Endless Treasure slot.
