Greentube Forms Joint Venture with Flamingocatz
Flamingocatz, a game developer founded in 2022, has seen Greentube acquire a 40% stake in the company. This deal is focused on launching groundbreaking slot machines in America, featuring innovative mechanics and unique designs.
The joint venture with Flamingocatz comes just months after Greentube acquired the American development studio Present Creative, further underscoring the company's ambitious plans to expand in regulated North American markets.
Both parties will collaborate on creating content for Greentube's portfolio, leveraging Flamingocatz's expertise and production capabilities. Several games are already in development and are expected to be launched in 2023, initially in North America, followed by other markets where Greentube operates.
Through this partnership, Greentube aims to significantly enhance its position in the U.S. and Canada. Last year, the company invested heavily in these markets to deliver localized and relevant content, positioning itself as a leading supplier in the gaming industry.
Michael Bauer, CFO of Greentube, stated, "We remain committed to expanding our presence in North America. With the joint venture with Flamingocatz, our company will further solidify its position in this market by working with a talented and experienced team. Focusing on what local players want is paramount for us, and this partnership will help us execute our growth strategy in the U.S. and Canada."
Job Spiero, co-founder of Flamingocatz, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, saying, "We are thrilled to be working on this new studio alongside Greentube and couldn't have hoped for a better partner in America. With Greentube's extensive experience in distribution, placement, and marketing of iGaming products, combined with Flamingocatz's unique approach to game development, we have high hopes for this partnership."
Previously, Greentube secured a significant deal with Entain in Ontario.
