Inside Asian Gaming (IAG), a leading media brand in the B2B sector of the gaming industry and integrated resorts, has announced the inaugural "Super September" event, set to take place at Newport World Resorts in Manila from September 12 to 14, 2023. This landmark event will feature the first-ever IAG Academy Summit, along with two engaging networking events.
Kicking off the festivities on the evening of Tuesday, September 12, will be the Manila After Dark (MAD 18) social reception. Scheduled to run from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM local time at The Grand Bar and Lounge in Newport World Resorts, this event marks the second installment of Manila After Dark, following its debut at Okada Manila in April.
On Wednesday and Thursday (September 13-14), the Hilton Manila ballroom at Newport World Resorts will host the inaugural IAG Academy Summit, bringing together some of the brightest minds in the Asian gaming industry. The summit will feature IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W. Scott, Managing Editor Ben Blaschke, and a lineup of speakers from across the region who will share their insights on various topics. Attendees can expect a mix of traditional discussions and presentations, as well as innovative formats that have not been seen at industry exhibitions in Asia before.
Another highlight of the week will be the IAG Academy IR Awards gala, taking place in the Hilton Manila ballroom on the evening of Wednesday, September 13, coinciding with the first day of the summit. More details about the awards, including the 20 categories, will be announced shortly.
The summit and awards ceremony follow the recent rebranding of the former Integrated Resorts Academy Asia to the Inside Asian Gaming Academy. This change aims to strengthen the IAG brand and reflect its broader focus on the Asia-Pacific region, while reducing its emphasis on Macau.
In related news, analysts at CBRE have raised revenue forecasts for Sands, MGM, and Wynn, citing their successes in Macau.
