IGT Acquires iSoftBet for €160 Million
Last April, IGT's management signed the final terms for the acquisition of the Malta-based game developer and online casino solutions provider. This deal is considered crucial for bolstering IGT's interactive division.
Notably, the acquisition of iSoftBet will more than double the content library of IGT PlayDigital, bringing the company's catalog to approximately 225 proprietary games. This expansion is expected to significantly enhance IGT's standing among suppliers offering a diverse range of titles.
Additional benefits of the deal include the strengthening of IGT's interactive division's online casino offerings through the integration of iSoftBet's platform. This will greatly facilitate the distribution of third-party games to clients while providing essential marketing tools and user engagement strategies.
The acquisition represents a merger and acquisition initiative undertaken by IGT under the leadership of its new CEO, Vince Sadusky, who has been tasked with revamping the NYSE group's digital profile by introducing new capabilities.
In his comments, Sadusky described iSoftBet as an "incredibly complementary asset," which will enable IGT Interactive to increase game supply for existing European partners and attract new clients in North America.
Founded in 2010, iSoftBet is recognized as one of the leading providers of aggregation solutions in the online casino market. Currently, iSoftBet serves over 260 B2B clients, offering a portfolio of 125 proprietary games and access to more than 4,600 third-party titles through its own platform.
Additionally, it is worth noting that BGaming has officially completed the adaptation of its portfolio to meet regulatory requirements in Germany.
