IGT and Greentube Reach Agreement on Joint Patent Licensing
With this deal, IGT will be able to offer the global gaming industry a patent license for the combined portfolios of RGS IGT and Greentube. The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
Renato Ascoli, CEO of IGT Global Gaming, commented on the agreement: "This partnership embodies the spirit of collaboration and innovation that IGT aims to foster in our industry. We are excited to provide the entire entertainment sector with the opportunity to license the combined RGS portfolios of IGT and Greentube, which feature appealing technologies for delivering games to customers wherever they are."
Thomas Graf, CEO of Greentube, expressed his enthusiasm for the agreement: "We are thrilled to have reached this significant intellectual property agreement with IGT, as it will enable Greentube to continue expanding its premium gaming products and solutions. The combined RGS portfolios from Greentube and IGT are truly state-of-the-art and reflect our shared expertise and leadership in the gaming industry. They hold great potential for success."
Both companies will continue to work diligently to protect their intellectual property, both individually and in collaboration with developers and suppliers in the gaming industry, with the aim of promoting innovation in the iGaming market.
