The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) reported that online casinos in the state generated $291.5 million (₽24.15 billion) in revenue in August 2025. This figure marks the third-highest revenue in the history of the state's iGaming industry. It represents a 4.9% increase from July's revenue of $277.9 million (₽23.01 billion) and is up 29.6% compared to August 2024, when online casinos earned $225 million (₽18.63 billion).
Adjusted revenue, excluding promotional bonuses, reached $231.2 million (₽19.15 billion). Penn National maintained its position as the leading operator, bringing in $106.1 million (₽8.79 billion). Under its license, several brands operate in Pennsylvania, including DraftKings Casino, BetMGM Casino, Fanatics Casino, and Hollywood Casino.
Valley Forge secured the second spot with a revenue of $88.6 million (₽7.34 billion), reflecting a year-over-year growth of 52.1%. The Rivers Philadelphia online casinos ranked third, generating $44.6 million (₽3.69 billion). Caesars Interactive also saw an increase, with revenue rising to $15.1 million (₽1.25 billion).
The majority of the revenue came from slot machines, which accounted for $239.6 million (₽19.85 billion). Table games contributed $49.4 million (₽4.09 billion), while poker generated $2.5 million (₽210 million).
Total tax revenue for August amounted to $105.1 million (₽8.71 billion), of which $68.2 million (₽5.65 billion) was allocated to the state budget. The remaining $36.9 million (₽3.05 billion) comprised local taxes and grants for counties.
August's revenue was just $225,700 (₽18.7 million) shy of the second-highest figure recorded in May 2025, when online casinos earned $291.7 million (₽24.14 billion). The highest revenue remains from March 2025, which reached $294.2 million (₽24.36 billion).
It is worth noting that the Pennsylvania gaming industry surpassed half a billion dollars in revenue in July 2024, driven by iGaming.
