This is another important milestone in our ongoing efforts to provide users and businesses with a strong, competitive, and safe online gaming environment that meets consumer expectations."
Downey expressed optimism for the continued success of iGaming Ontario as a global innovator and leader in online gaming. He also noted that the regulator has facilitated the creation of over 12,000 jobs in its first year of operation.
Heidi Reinhart, Chair of the Board of iGaming Ontario, remarked, "When it comes to Ontario's gaming market, the numbers speak for themselves... Our government partners, operators, responsible gambling experts, visitors, and staff have all worked together to help create a world-class market."
