The Indiana Gaming Commission has released its financial report for October 2024, revealing that the state's 13 commercial casinos generated $187.9 million (18.6 billion rubles) in revenue during the month. This figure represents a 7.6% increase compared to October 2023.
Leading the year-over-year growth was Hard Rock Northern Indiana, which saw its revenues rise by $6.1 million (604 million rubles) to reach $37.4 million (3.7 billion rubles). The casino captured nearly 20% of the local market share, marking the third consecutive year it has topped the state's revenue rankings.
Hard Rock Northern Indiana opened its doors in May 2021 and generated nearly $21 million (2.07 billion rubles) in its first month of operation, ranking sixth in the local market. It became the revenue leader in Indiana in October 2021, with earnings of almost $31 million (3.06 billion rubles), dethroning the previous champion, Horseshoe Hammond.
October 2024 also proved to be a positive month for sportsbooks. Indiana residents placed a record $537.9 million (53.26 billion rubles) in bets, surpassing the previous high of $513.7 million (50.86 billion rubles) set in November 2023 by 4.7%.
Ameristar Casino led the sports betting handle with $194.3 million (19.23 billion rubles), while Blue Chip Casino contributed the highest revenue from this segment, adding $13.5 million (1.33 billion rubles) to the state's total monthly figure of $35.2 million (3.48 billion rubles).
It is worth noting that PlayStar has entered the Indiana market in partnership with Caesars Entertainment.
