The Indiana Gaming Commission has released its monthly report, revealing that the gaming sector generated approximately $204.9 million (17.37 billion rubles) in February. This marks an increase of $3 million compared to February of last year, when profits totaled $201.3 million (17.06 billion rubles). Additionally, the sector earned $1.5 million (127.1 million rubles) more than in January.
According to the Commission, Hard Rock Northern Indiana remains the most profitable casino in the state, with revenues of around $34.4 million (2.9 billion rubles) in February. Matt Schuffert, the casino's president and CEO, commented, "This is a great story for the state and a significant opportunity for the entire industry. Economically, we are always monitoring factors that could impact our customers." Schuffert also noted, "February was a very strong month for us, with nearly a 10% increase compared to last year. It's encouraging to see our business continue to thrive even two years later."
Ameristar Casino in East Chicago topped the charts for sports betting revenue in February, with total earnings of about $16.5 million (1.39 billion rubles), slightly down from January's $16.6 million (1.4 billion rubles). In February 2022, the casino reported profits of $18.1 million (1.53 billion rubles).
Horseshoe Casino Hammond reported revenues of $27.9 million (2.36 billion rubles) last month, which is a decrease from $28.7 million (2.43 billion rubles) in February 2022 and $28.9 million (2.45 billion rubles) in January 2023.
It is worth noting that Hard Rock International and Seminole Gaming will begin utilizing the QCI platform.
