PlayStar Casino, in collaboration with SGG Media, is launching live streaming of online casino games on Twitch as part of the Casino Stream project. This marks one of the first fully legal streaming shows following the ban in October 2022 on streams from gambling sites that are not licensed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions.
The show is an exclusive initiative from PlayStar. It will feature weekly broadcasts with three streamers from New Jersey, who will showcase various games available at PlayStar Casino, giving viewers a real-time glimpse into a legal online casino and its slot machines. Each host will be allocated a specific budget to explore different types of entertainment during the streams.
John Bowden, PlayStar Casino's marketing director, expressed excitement about the collaboration, which will allow casino enthusiasts in New Jersey to watch and play online slots and other games. "We are bringing the thrill of live, legal casino gaming to residents of New Jersey, while a larger audience can watch the action unfold in real-time," Bowden added.
On October 1, 2023, SGG Media launched its own streaming project, Live Drive, focused on sports betting. Aimed at an audience of nearly 25,000 on Twitch, YouTube, and other platforms, this sports show became the first fully legal one in the U.S. following the restrictions imposed in 2022.
Commenting on the recent deal, SGG Media CEO Troy Paul stated, "Our Casino Stream show is designed to fully comply with all state gambling laws. PlayStar is a licensed casino in New Jersey, and we only allow verified adult players residing in the state to participate. The hosts of our streaming shows bring the excitement of real-time betting and the thrill of big wins to our vast online audience."
Meanwhile, social media sensation Clue Heywood from Arizona visited 26 casinos in the state within just 48 hours.
