Mattel has opened its first UNO card game club in Las Vegas
The UNO Social Club is a luxurious venue with a vibrant interior. Inside, guests can enjoy private gaming tables, exclusive versions of UNO, personal dealers, and an interactive area with various enhancements. Visitors can experience not only the classic UNO but also its unique modifications.
Ray Adler, Vice President and Head of Mattel, stated, "UNO Social Clubs are redefining the concept of game night. These new clubs combine excitement, a friendly competitive atmosphere, and fun."
UNO is a popular game created in 1971 and produced by Mattel. The objective is for players to be the first to get rid of all their cards by matching colors or numbers. The game accommodates 2 to 10 players, is easy to learn, and is perfect for family and friend gatherings.
Throughout 2025, similar establishments are set to open in other major U.S. cities. Each club will offer not only a variety of game versions but also cocktails, photo zones, tournaments, interactive events, and themed parties.
This move has put to rest rumors about the potential transformation of UNO into a casino-style tabletop game with betting elements. The new format aims to attract those seeking original ways to spend their evenings.
Additionally, Las Vegas will host the first national dealer championship at the Global Gaming Expo 2025.
