Mohegan Sun has been named the best hotel-casino in the United States for the seventh consecutive year in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards
In addition to this top honor, Mohegan Sun also ranked in the top five for "Best Casino Outside of Las Vegas," and its Momentum loyalty program secured the second spot in its category. This year’s voting process lasted four weeks, with nominees selected by a panel of industry experts.
Jeff Hamilton, the resort's president and general manager, commented on the achievement: "For seven years in a row, Mohegan Sun has been recognized as the best hotel casino in the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards. This accomplishment is a direct result of the dedication our team members show every day in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. This year has been particularly fruitful for Mohegan Sun, as it was recognized by Casino Player Magazine’s Best of Gaming - New England in several categories, including best hotel and lobby, slot tournaments, video poker, craps, VIP lounge, and more. Additionally, the Mohegan Sun Arena, which seats 10,000, received accolades during the annual Academy of Country Music Awards and Pollstar Awards.
Earlier this month, Mohegan Sun released its financial results for the second quarter of 2024, reporting the highest net quarterly revenue in its history at $504,167 (approximately 45.56 million rubles), marking a 21.4% increase compared to the previous year.
For context, the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City garnered 23 awards in the Casino Player Magazine rankings.
