The gaming provider Play’n GO has unveiled its latest creation, the slot game "Dead in Mictlan," launched in celebration of the Day of the Dead. This traditional festival honors the memory of deceased family members. The game transports players to a vibrant Aztec world, guided by two characters, Catrin and Catrina, who lead them through the realms of the Moon and Sun, beautifully depicted in the slot.
The game features five reels, with the guides' symbols helping players navigate through various levels. Each guide possesses a unique wild symbol characteristic that reflects the moods of the spirits. As players progress, the storyline unfolds, allowing them to choose the direction of the narrative by selecting suitable wild features.
The developer promises not only an engaging storyline but also high-quality sound effects and a striking design filled with traditional festival animals and floral motifs. Observant players will notice references to Calaveras in the sugar skull decorations worn by Catrin and Catrina.
Particularly noteworthy is the animation of the Soul Scatter, which adds even more color and spectacle to the design.
"This game is so beautiful that we were thrilled to work on the slot. We didn’t want to create just another typical machine that everyone is already used to. Our main goal was to capture a deep atmosphere that fully immerses the player in the gaming experience. We crafted an entire story where players are not mere spectators but the main protagonists. By interacting with various bonus features, you can advance the plot and dive into the world of Mictlan," commented Play’n GO Director Charlotte Miliziano on the release.
Although the slot's launch coincides with the Day of the Dead, it will remain available to players even after the festival concludes.
It’s worth noting that experts believe the legal gambling industry benefits both the state and the general public.
