Playson has expanded its presence in North America after securing a license that will allow the provider to operate in Ontario. The license, issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission, enables the company to offer table games, slot machines, and live titles to numerous operators in Canada’s second-largest province.
As part of the licensing agreement, popular Playson slots such as Buffalo Power: Hold & Win, Legend of Cleopatra Megaways, and Royal Coins: Hold & Win will soon be available in the market.
Tamas Kushtos, Playson’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s entry into Ontario, stating, “We are thrilled to be able to operate in Ontario. This has allowed us to fulfill our ambitious plans to expand beyond Europe. Our experience in multiple regulated markets around the world has been crucial in navigating the lengthy licensing process.”
Kushtos also highlighted that this achievement was made possible by the dedicated team at Playson, which is united by a shared passion for the industry.
In addition to games, operators will gain access to Playson’s promotional offerings, which include network tournaments and the Cash Blast tool, designed to enhance the gaming experience and improve customer acquisition and retention mechanics.
With a population of over 14.5 million, Ontario adds to the list of more than 20 regulated territories where Playson already holds a license, including regions in Africa, Europe, and Latin America.
According to Andrey Andronik, Playson’s Chief Legal Officer, the company worked with the Ontario regulatory body for several months before finally obtaining the necessary approval to operate. He noted that the entry into North America marks a new phase of development for the provider, which plans further expansion on the continent.
