PlayStar, an online casino operating on the Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) platform, has officially launched its services in the state of New Jersey. This launch was made possible through a partnership with Ocean Casino Resort, which provided the brand with access to a limited licensing market.
As part of this collaboration, PlayStar will offer a curated selection of products hosted on the GiG platform. The solution, built on flexible technology and backed by extensive knowledge gained from over four years of experience in the U.S. market, presents unique promotional opportunities. GiG's clients primarily consist of companies aiming for digital transformation in regulated markets worldwide.
The agreement between GiG and PlayStar is based on a distinctive revenue-sharing model and has a minimum duration of four years.
Richard Brown, CEO of GiG, stated, "From the very beginning of our discussions with PlayStar, we were impressed by the casino's exceptionally strong approach to enriching its content library. We are thrilled that our technology has played a central role in launching the platform in New Jersey. PlayStar has established itself as a strong and innovative gaming brand in the U.S."
According to Brown, the success of the partnership between the two companies will further demonstrate and stimulate their shared commitment to growth.
Per Hellberg, CEO of PlayStar, remarked, "A tremendous amount of work has gone into this. We have finally commenced operations in New Jersey, which is a significant milestone for us."
Hellberg also emphasized that having quality content is only half the battle, as a suitable platform is essential for its distribution. GiG's solution has enabled the company to bring its vision to life.
According to a report from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, the local iGaming market has shown significant growth and development since the introduction of regulations.
In related news, 7777 Gaming has received certification from the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).
