Game developer Red Tiger has launched the slot game Gonzo’s Quest Megaways, a new version of the popular video slot. The original game was released in 2011 by NetEnt. This new slot features high volatility and an RTP of 95.77%, with a maximum win potential of 20,000 times the stake. The game can have up to 117,649 active paylines.
Similar to the original slot, winning combinations in the base game are destroyed, making way for new symbols. With each new destruction, the payout multiplier increases, with a maximum multiplier of 5x.
To trigger the bonus game, players need to land three Free Fall symbols or two Free Fall symbols along with one Wild symbol in succession, starting from the far-left reel. The bonus consists of nine free spins, during which all payouts receive an additional 3x multiplier. Once consecutive wins come to an end, a new free spin is activated. Each additional Free Fall symbol adds three more free spins, and players can earn extra spins during the bonus round.
The Wild symbol substitutes for any symbol to form winning combinations. Unlike in the original game, the Wild does not get destroyed and remains on the playing field.
