Reflex Gaming and Yggdrasil have announced a new partnership aimed at introducing innovative mechanics to land-based casinos in the United Kingdom.
The alliance focuses on implementing Game Engagement Mechanics (GEM) within the UK gambling market. Reflex Gaming will leverage Yggdrasil's GEM technology to deliver these features across various venues nationwide, including betting shops, pubs, gaming halls, and other leisure locations.
The collaboration between Reflex Gaming and Yggdrasil dates back to 2020, during which the companies co-developed 11 games under the YG Masters program, including titles like Desperate Dawgs 2 and Dublin Up DoubleMax. Among the games released by Yggdrasil utilizing GEM are Gigablox, Splitz, DoubleMax, WildFight, and DuoMax. This new partnership is set to expand the reach of these and other GEM slots in the UK’s land-based gaming sector.
Stuart McCarthy, Head of Product and Programs at Yggdrasil, stated, “Strengthening our partnership with Reflex Gaming to introduce GEM in land-based casinos marks a significant milestone for our company. We have already achieved great success together, launching a series of high-performing online games for our clients, and we are now excited to bring them to the land-based sector. This deal is a testament to the strength of our GEM and their potential to elevate player experiences to new heights.”
Reflex Gaming's Product Director, Matt Ingram, also welcomed the partnership, saying, “Reflex is thrilled to have the opportunity to bring GEM to the land-based market. This is a fantastic way to draw attention to the YG Masters program, Reflex, and Yggdrasil’s individual products, while also fostering another successful collaboration across the board.”
Previously, Reflex Gaming and Yggdrasil launched the slot game Dublin Up DoubleMAX.
