Rivalry has successfully received RG Check accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council (RGC). This independent body evaluates casinos that aim to provide high levels of safety for their customers.
The RG Check program offers online gambling companies tools to assess, monitor, and manage the risks associated with gambling. It has been mandated for all operators entering the Ontario market, with a requirement to complete the program within two years of launching.
Steven Salz, co-founder and CEO of Rivalry, commented, “Achieving our RG Check accreditation is significant for us, as it signals to our customers, the gaming industry, and the entire iGaming community our unwavering commitment to creating a safe environment for users.”
Salz believes that RG Check represents the gold standard in player protection, as the program focuses on responsible oversight of the industry. He asserts that companies have a duty to educate and inform customers so they can make informed decisions about their gambling rights.
Rivalry began the assessment process even before its official launch in Ontario and has now completed it well ahead of the deadline.
Shelley White, CEO of RGC, stated, “Congratulations to Rivalry on successfully obtaining RG Check iGaming accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council. This company operates the first website to receive approval under the program in the casino and esports sectors.”
White views this achievement as a clear demonstration of Rivalry's commitment to player protection throughout its operations.
RG Check serves as a tool for risk management and monitoring the overall effectiveness of responsible gambling programs.
