Rush Street Gaming has expanded its Konami Synkros casino management system to include Rivers Casino Portsmouth in Virginia. The state’s first permanent casino utilizing Synkros technology is set to open on January 15, 2023, making Rivers Casino Portsmouth the fifth property in Rush Street's portfolio to implement the system.
The Synkros management system from Konami will provide rewards, promotions, messaging, and more across 1,448 slot machines, 57 table games, a poker room, a sportsbook, restaurants, retail spaces, and entertainment venues.
Rush Street Gaming's partnership with Konami began with the debut of its first property, Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, in 2009, and has since expanded to include Rivers Casino Philadelphia, Rivers Casino Des Plaines, and Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady.
Roy Corby, General Manager of Rivers Casino Portsmouth, stated, “Built from the ground up as a state-of-the-art gaming and entertainment complex, Rivers Casino Portsmouth is fully equipped for personalized rewards and real-time engagement in our loyalty program through Synkros. This system will enable us to achieve our immediate and long-term technological goals while ensuring seamless operational management in the casino.”
Tim Drehkoff, CEO of Rush Street Gaming, commented, “As an organization committed to being a leader in each of our markets, Rush Street Gaming has a reliable partner in Konami with their Synkros technology. As we approach the opening of Rivers Casino Portsmouth in 2023, we are fully confident that Synkros will enhance the technological support for our guests.”
