South Korea's leading casino operator, Paradise Co, which caters exclusively to foreign clients, reported a revenue of 81 billion won (approximately $4.67 billion) for March 2025. This figure represents a remarkable 51.6% increase compared to 2024 and is 15.3% higher than the revenue recorded in February. These results indicate a growing interest from international tourists.
The majority of March's revenue came from table games, which saw a 16.6% increase from February, reaching 76.9 billion won ($4.44 billion). Slot machines ranked second, contributing 4.07 billion won ($235.1 million) to the operator's earnings.
Additionally, Paradise Co experienced a successful month in terms of betting, with total wagers amounting to 589.1 billion won ($34.02 billion), marking a 12.1% rise from February. This reflects a consistently high level of interest in gambling among foreign visitors.
These results continue the trend of a successful 2024, during which the company's total revenue grew by 10.2%, reaching 818.8 billion won ($47.27 billion). This solidified Paradise Co's position as South Korea's largest casino operator focused on international clientele. The company maintains its leadership despite competition from other Asian gaming hubs, such as Macau and the Philippines.
Experts believe that Paradise Co's success in March may be linked to an increase in tourist arrivals, particularly from China and Japan. The company's management is now focusing on further developing and adapting its services to meet the demands of affluent guests, which could lead to even higher financial performance in the near future.
It is worth noting that Paradise Co's revenue in March was 125.5% higher than in 2022.
