The ASEAN 2024 gaming summit has concluded in the Philippine capital of Manila, setting a new attendance record with around 1,600 participants.
The event attracted a diverse audience from various regions around the globe, including representatives from the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, India, as well as Hong Kong and Macau.
The summit featured an exhibition where dozens of companies showcased the latest technologies and advancements in the gaming sector. In addition to local Philippine firms, notable exhibitors included brands such as BetConstruct, DST Gaming, Pronet Gaming, and Fast Track.
The Philippine gaming regulator, PAGCOR, actively supported the event. Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco opened the summit with a keynote address.
The ASEAN 2024 summit also hosted the Asia Gaming Awards, recognizing significant achievements among operators, providers, and other stakeholders in the gaming industry. Awards were presented in twenty categories, with Bloomberry Resorts named the best operator and Solaire Resort & Casino winning in the "Best Integrated Resort" category.
Luis Pereira, managing director of the summit organizer Asia Gaming Brief, remarked, "This year's event once again brought together great minds and companies that continue to shape and diversify the industry. The valuable insights from speakers and discussion participants, along with networking and idea exchange, all contribute to pushing the sector to new heights and forging new connections."
