Casino M1, located on the border between Russia and Belarus, has officially announced that it will reopen its doors on October 15 after a temporary closure due to quarantine measures. This information has been confirmed through the establishment's official social media pages.
It is worth noting that the casino's management initially planned to resume operations on October 1, but this date was postponed due to the unstable situation in the country.
In a press release, the company stated that due to the border closure between Russia and Belarus, the administration has decided to implement a series of organizational changes in the casino's operations. The primary focus will now shift towards catering to local customers. An added bonus is that all previous winnings from lucky chips will be preserved.
The management confirmed that previously, over 80% of the casino's clientele came from Russia. Therefore, the updated operational policy will include new incentives for Belarusian visitors.
As a reminder, Evolution Gaming recently changed its name ahead of its merger with NetEnt.
