The National Lottery is continuing its search for a lucky winner who participated in the special EuroMillions Millionaire Maker draw and became one of the prize recipients. The winner must claim their prize of £1 million by March 5, before the 30-day validity period of the ticket expires.
The special draw took place on February 3, resulting in 31 participants each winning £1 million (over 90 million rubles). The last remaining winner, who purchased their ticket in North Somerset, has yet to be found. If the winner is not located by the prize claim deadline, the funds will be redirected to support projects funded by the National Lottery across the UK.
Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at the National Lottery, stated: "We are desperately trying to find this elusive ticket holder and reunite them with their prize. This incredible win could truly change someone's life. We have already begun servicing 30 ticket holders who have claimed their prizes from the special EuroMillions draw. We hope that the fortunate winner who bought their ticket in North Somerset will come forward soon to enjoy this wonderful victory."
Camelot Group, the operator of the UK National Lottery, has stated that it can pay out prizes if a ticket is lost, destroyed, or stolen, but only if the customer submits a written claim within 30 days of the relevant draw. If sufficient evidence is provided, Camelot will conduct an investigation and assess the validity of the claim. Andy Carter also emphasized the importance of anyone who believes they are entitled to a prize coming forward, even if they do not have the ticket.
