At this year's Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, the United States will host its first-ever national championship for casino dealers. Participants will showcase their skills, professionalism, and ability to engage with casino guests.
The championship is organized by G2E in collaboration with RX and with the support of the American Gaming Association (AGA). Dealers working full-time or part-time in legal casinos across the U.S. are eligible to compete, with each operator allowed to nominate only one representative from their establishment.
The competition will feature two disciplines: blackjack and classic roulette. Contestants will have 15 minutes to demonstrate their mastery of the games, customer interaction skills, and a high level of technical execution. Each dealer will be accompanied by a representative from their casino's management, who will also serve as a member of the judging panel.
The top dealers will be determined through a series of qualifying rounds, with three winners receiving cash prizes.
G2E 2025 is expected to attract over 25,000 industry professionals from 120 countries, with nearly 400 companies participating. According to the AGA, revenues in the U.S. gaming market grew by 7.5% in 2024, and the expo continues to be a key gathering point for the global regulated sector.
Debbie Nutton, a championship advisor and industry veteran, remarked, "This is not just a competition; it’s a recognition of skill and professionalism. These qualities shape the face of the gaming industry."
Notably, Konami will showcase its facial recognition technology for table games at the G2E exhibition.
