The G2E Asia 2023 Special Edition has officially opened in Singapore. The event runs from May 30 to June 1 at Marina Bay Sands and marks the first of two phases for G2E Asia 2023.
Ip Je Chung, Senior Vice President of Commercial for Reed Exhibitions' Asia-Pacific division, stated, "The enthusiastic response from our exhibitors reflects the industry's needs and the importance of face-to-face meetings in strengthening relationships. Events like this not only provide a platform to showcase innovative products but also offer numerous opportunities for participants and visitors to expand their business networks."
The event was inaugurated by Bill Miller, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association. He addressed topics such as Japan's approval of MGM Resorts and Thailand's steps toward legalizing casinos. Miller also emphasized the importance of responsible leadership, the threats posed by illegal gambling, and the lessons the Asian gaming industry can learn from the U.S. experience.
This year, Singapore will host a three-day conference focused on "The Future Gaming Landscape in Asia." Key discussion points will include customer service optimization, emerging markets, and esports.
The next phase of G2E Asia will be the Asian IR Expo, scheduled for July 11-13, 2023, at The Venetian Macao. This event will place a special emphasis on integrated resorts and business diversification, providing participants with valuable insights into the latest trends in Macau's economy.
Global Gaming Expo Asia is the Asian segment of the international gaming and entertainment exhibition G2E, organized by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibitions. G2E Asia first took place in June 2007.
Additionally, it is worth noting that the revised development plan for Hudson Yards includes a Wynn casino.
