As of July 1, 2025, the tax rate on iGaming and online betting in New Jersey was increased to 19.75%, up from the previous rates of 15% and 13%. This change has bolstered state revenue from gross gaming income.

The majority came from the online sector, which accounted for $79.3 million (₽6.57 billion), while retail locations contributed $2.6 million (₽220 million). It is worth noting that gaming revenues in New Jersey have surged significantly, largely due to the success of online casinos.
