Raw iGaming has acquired all assets of Spigo, which include its casual games, clients, and platform. The purchase agreement specifically encompasses popular titles such as Yatzy, Backgammon, Solitaire, Match 3, and various other slot games. This acquisition is expected to enable Raw iGaming to broaden its offerings to a more mainstream audience.
Tom Wood, CEO of Raw iGaming, commented on the acquisition: "This is another step in the evolution of our company, aimed at delivering premium products across all segments of the gaming industry. Just as we have commercialized slot machines, we see a similar endless sea of sameness in the casual gaming space. However, with our innovative game design and the unique creativity of our team, we hope to change that just as we have in the slot market. I look forward to seeing what our amazing team at Raw can create and how we will develop the casual gaming market together in the coming years."
Earlier this year, Raw acquired Sapphire Gaming, which, according to company representatives, will "significantly enhance" its production capabilities. Wood expressed his enthusiasm for this acquisition, stating: "I am thrilled and proud to work with one of the most impressive talents in the iGaming industry, Alec Horley, along with his brilliant team at Sapphire, who will continue their work in our new office in the UK."
Raw has indeed been active this year, as, in addition to the aforementioned acquisitions, it also purchased Leander Games in the spring. This move has allowed the company to extend its content reach to Leander's client base in Europe and South America.
Previously, we reported that Lady Luck Games has entered Asian markets through an agreement with CYG Pte Ltd.
