On March 10, the Lilac Club Casino officially opened its doors in Rochester, New Hampshire, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials and business representatives. The casino is set to welcome the general public on March 14.
Located at 7 Milton Road, the casino spans nearly 3,000 square feet and features over 200 slot machines and electronic table games. Visitors can enjoy classic games such as blackjack, roulette, and craps. Additionally, there is a dedicated poker room equipped with 12 tables for enthusiasts.
Inside the casino, guests will find the Lucky Oak Bar & Grill, developed in partnership with Boston's Briar Group, known for its expertise in the hospitality sector. This collaboration aims to provide high-quality dining options that enhance the overall gaming experience.
Eric Barbaro, Chief Operating Officer of Granite State Gaming & Hospitality, commented on the upcoming opening: "We are excited to welcome guests from all over the country to experience everything our new establishment has to offer. The Lilac Club Casino is not just a business; it is an integral part of the entire community in the state. This new entertainment complex will create jobs, strengthen existing partnerships, and contribute to the economic growth of the region."
The opening of the Lilac Club Casino comes amid discussions in Rochester about expanding the gambling landscape. In October 2023, city officials considered the possibility of allowing retail sports betting. The launch of the new casino is expected to enhance entertainment and tourism offerings in the area.
