Macau's Financial Services Bureau reports that gaming taxes in July exceeded $1 billion (80.6 billion rubles), matching the figures from the previous month.
The tax amount for July aligns with Macau's gross gaming revenue for June, which reached $2.6 billion (209.6 billion rubles). This represents a 19% increase year-on-year, although it is slightly lower than the results from May.
Over the past seven months, the total revenue from gaming taxes for the Macau government has reached $6.6 billion (532 billion rubles), marking a 3.4% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The overall government revenue for the region amounted to $7.87 billion (634.3 billion rubles), with more than 86% of this total derived from gaming taxes.
In preparing the annual budget, the Macau government projected gaming tax revenues of $11.6 billion (935 billion rubles) for 2025, of which 60.3% has already been achieved.
It is worth noting that New Jersey has also seen an increase in gaming revenues, largely driven by online casinos, which generated $247.3 million (19.6 billion rubles) in July.
