According to a report from the state’s gaming regulator, the three largest establishments—Plainridge Park Casino, MGM Springfield, and Encore Boston Harbor—collectively generated $105.01 million (₽8.82 billion). This figure represents a 5.5% increase compared to the previous month, indicating a consistent recovery in the gaming sector following the summer season.
Encore Boston Harbor led the revenue rankings, with its operator reporting earnings of $65 million (₽5.46 billion). Of this total, $26.1 million (₽2.19 billion) came from table games, while slot machines contributed $38.8 million (₽3.26 billion).
MGM Springfield reported revenues of $24.9 million (₽2.09 billion), with $5 million (₽420 million) generated from card games and $20 million (₽1.68 billion) from slots.
Plainridge Park Casino secured third place in revenue, with its operator announcing a total gaming revenue of $15.1 million (₽1.27 billion), all derived from slot machines.
Analysts have noted a consistent increase in revenues across all three casinos over the past six months. Since their openings, the state has collected $2.2 billion (₽184.84 billion) in taxes and fees from their operations.
In the sports betting sector, seven operators generated $55.8 million (₽4.69 billion) in revenue, with the vast majority—$55.1 million (₽4.63 billion)—coming from online platforms. Retail locations contributed an additional $681,347 (₽57.25 million). Since the legalization of sports betting in January 2023, total tax revenues for the state have exceeded $346.2 million (₽29.09 billion), underscoring a strong interest in legal gambling in Massachusetts.
