Celebrity chef and television host Gordon Ramsay is set to open his first signature restaurant in Virginia. Ramsay’s Kitchen will be located at the under-construction Caesars Virginia resort and casino in Danville, with both venues slated to open by the end of 2024.
At Ramsay’s Kitchen, diners can expect a mix of the chef's signature dishes alongside local cuisine. The restaurant will be situated near the casino and hotel check-in area, accommodating over 250 guests. Plans include a private dining room and an outdoor terrace offering views of the city’s historic architecture.
Commenting on the announcement, Ramsay said, “Caesars Virginia sets the standard for accessible luxury, and I am incredibly proud to open my first restaurant here at this beautiful resort. My long-standing partnership with Caesars has consistently resonated with guests, and I am excited to continue it here in the Commonwealth of Virginia and share my take on global cuisine.”
Chris Albrecht, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Caesars Virginia, also weighed in on the initiative: “Ramsay’s Kitchen offers exquisite dining options not just at our resort. This is a premier opportunity that the region has yet to see. We are immensely grateful to Chef Ramsay for choosing Caesars Virginia for his new establishment, and we look forward to introducing our guests to this phenomenal restaurant.”
Caesars Virginia in Danville is designed as a full-service resort and casino. The gaming area will span over 8,300 square feet, featuring 1,500 slot machines, 79 classic table games, and 24 electronic table games. The complex will also house a WSOP poker room and a signature sportsbook operated by Caesars.
Meanwhile, Caesars anticipates a boost in revenue from Taylor Swift's concerts in New Orleans.
