South Korean casino operator Paradise Co., which caters exclusively to foreign visitors, reported a significant increase in profits for the third quarter of 2025. The company's net profit reached 33.4 billion won (approximately $25 million), marking a 70% year-on-year increase. This impressive performance was driven by improved casino metrics and sustained demand for hotel services across its properties.
Consolidated revenue for the operator rose by 7.5% to 288.2 billion KRW (around $216 million), while operating profit increased by 9.1% to 39.5 billion KRW (about $30 million). The gaming segment, which includes three establishments in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju, saw revenue grow by 18.9% to 100.4 billion KRW (approximately $76 million). A key factor in this success was enhanced profitability.
According to the report, the hotel business also demonstrated stable results. Hotel revenue increased by 6.2% to 31.5 billion KRW (around $24 million). The Paradise Hotel Busan reported a 7.2% rise in revenue to 30.5 billion KRW (approximately $23 million), with an occupancy rate of 89.2%.
At the integrated resort-casino Paradise City in Incheon, managed in partnership with Sega Sammy Holdings, a record was set for betting volume, surpassing 1 trillion KRW (about $756 million) for the first time.
The joint venture Paradise Sega Sammy in Incheon experienced a revenue increase of 16.6% to 106.7 billion KRW (approximately $80 million). The operating profit of the resort-casino surged sixfold to 9.9 billion KRW (around $7.5 million), while net profit reached 7.7 billion KRW (approximately $5.8 million). The group's EBITDA rose by 4.2% to 58.1 billion KRW (about $44 million).
As of September 2025, Paradise Co.'s total assets amounted to 3.96 trillion KRW (approximately $3 billion), with equity standing at 2.19 trillion KRW (around $1.65 billion). The cumulative net profit for the first nine months of the year reached 108.9 billion KRW (approximately $82 million), a 47% increase compared to the same period last year.
