Paradise Entertainment Ltd, a gaming company, reported a profit of HK$381.9 million (approximately ₽4.12 billion) for the year 2024, marking a staggering 527% increase compared to 2023. This financial growth was driven by a 71% rise in total revenue, which reached HK$1.08 billion (around ₽11.64 billion).
The company attributed this surge in income to record sales of its flagship Live Multi Game (LMG) terminals and systems, which have become particularly popular among leading casino operators in Macau. Additionally, high foot traffic at the Kam Pek Paradise venue, where Paradise Entertainment provides management services under an SJM license, played a significant role in boosting revenues.
LMG terminals allow players to place bets on multiple live dealer tables simultaneously through an electronic interface, helping casinos reduce staffing costs and enhance operational efficiency through automation.
The report also highlighted that the adjusted EBITDA for 2024 stood at HK$453.0 million (about ₽4.88 billion), a 239% increase from the previous year. Of this, HK$310.4 million (approximately ₽3.34 billion) was generated by the Kam Pek Paradise casino, while the remaining HK$156.4 million (around ₽1.68 billion) came from the production and sale of electronic gaming equipment. This performance enabled the company to offset losses of HK$14.8 million (about ₽159.5 million) recorded in 2023.
The total gross revenue for the Kam Pek Paradise casino in 2024 reached HK$1.26 billion (approximately ₽13.59 billion), with LMG terminals contributing the largest share at HK$806.6 million (around ₽8.69 billion). Traditional table games generated HK$454.5 million (about ₽4.89 billion), while slot machines accounted for HK$52 million (approximately ₽560.6 million).
Notably, Macau's gaming revenue reached record levels in the fourth quarter of 2024.
