Play’n GO is continuing its aggressive expansion strategy. In early March, the company announced that it had secured a license to operate in the Ontario market. Now, the provider has also received approval from the Gibraltar Gambling Commission. This will enable them to forge partnerships with new operators and attract an even larger audience to their products.
Sissel Weitzhandler, Play’n GO’s Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, commented on the news: “We are thrilled to receive approval from the Gibraltar licensing authority. A tremendous amount of work went into this achievement. We had to compile a substantial documentation package, undergo numerous checks, and make security deposits. But all of this effort was worthwhile. We have obtained the license, which will now allow us to enter a new market and establish lucrative partnerships.”
Magnus Olsson, Play’n GO’s Chief Commercial Officer, added: “Our team has worked diligently to secure the license for operations in Ontario. However, the issuance of the Gibraltar license is equally significant for us. It will enable Play’n GO to operate across various jurisdictions in regulated markets worldwide. We will be able to collaborate with major operators, as we now have all the necessary documentation and a high-quality product portfolio featuring a vast array of titles.”
Under the B2C license from the Gibraltar Gambling Commission, Play’n GO will be able to offer its clients a large catalog of slots, including popular titles such as Rex 2, Reactoonz, Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus, and others. The provider plans to begin establishing new partnerships on April 1, following the activation of the newly issued license.
