At the SBC Summit Barcelona, 15,000 delegates will have the opportunity to hear in-depth analyses from international experts on both established and emerging global markets as part of the "Leaders of the Global Gambling Industry" track. This special track will kick off on Thursday, September 21, with the second day of the Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc exhibition dedicated to betting and iGaming.
Delegates will gain insights from global leaders who will discuss pressing issues related to international markets, technology integration, and responsible leadership. Panel discussions will cover topics such as the pivotal role of technological solutions in achieving brand competitive advantages, the potential of iGaming in the U.S. markets, innovative strategies in regions like Latin America, Japan, and India, and much more.

In the discussion titled "Latin America — Navigating the Shifting Political Sands: What Opportunities Exist Now?" experts will explore optimistic regulatory changes in the region and how leaders are strategically leveraging them. Panelists including José Duarte (CEO of Betcris), Gonzalo Pérez (CEO of Apuesta Total), Ramiro Atucha (CEO of Vibra Gaming), and Livia Troise (CEO of Betmais) will discuss whether Argentina's success in the land-based gambling sector will influence Brazilian legislation, as well as the role of traditional betting in enhancing player engagement and regulation.
The session "Eastern Europe — The Next Big Opportunity in Europe?" will examine the numerous promising avenues opening up in the region as markets rapidly develop. Participants will include George Atanassopoulos (CEO of Novibet), Giorgi Mamulaishvili (head of the Georgian Gambling Association), Darko Zivanov (CEO of MaxBet Group), Radim Haluzka (CEO of Entain CEE), and Dario Jurcic (CEO of NSoft). They will discuss how strong positions in Eastern Europe can serve as a foundation for international expansion, as well as lessons learned from regional pioneers.
In the discussion "Accessing Africa — Hyperlocalization or Hyper-hypnosis?" experts will address the challenges international operators face when entering the region and how they can achieve success despite restrictive regulations, technology, and political agendas. Panelists Sab Jhuti (CEO of Bonmoja), Tyrone Dobbin (co-founder of Sportingbet South Africa), Olamimpe Akingba (executive secretary of the Nigeria Bookmakers Association), and Charles Lee (CEO of Kwiff) will explore regulatory changes, the region's growing markets, the role of partnerships and local initiatives, as well as the investments, technologies, and strategic collaborations necessary for successful operations.
Roundtable sessions will feature specialized regional discussions focused on Spain, Italy, the UK, Germany, India, North and South America, Africa, and Asia. These discussions will allow participants to exchange ideas, strategies, and pain points with regional experts.
The second day of the conference will also include innovative tracks on sports betting, casinos, iGaming, marketing, media, payments, technology, and player protection.
