On December 14, the final shortlist for the Global Gaming Awards London 2023 was officially announced. Companies and individuals included in the list will soon receive emails with further details.
The Global Gaming Awards are recognized as the most prestigious accolade in the gaming industry, organized by the well-known British publication Gambling Insider. The awards honor representatives of the gaming business outside of America who have achieved outstanding results over the past 12 months.
Julian Perry, the editor-in-chief of Gambling Insider, stated, "We are particularly excited to present the London Awards 2023, as we will introduce two new categories this year: Platform Provider and Online Slot."
He added, "Each year, we receive an increasing number of nominations, making it more challenging to finalize the shortlist. All I can say is that anyone who made it onto the shortlist should be immensely proud."
Winners of this prestigious award will be determined by a special committee composed of 50 senior executives from the gaming industry. Their names will be revealed soon.
The selection process for the Global Gaming Awards shortlist follows a specific criterion, which will be detailed in the official Shortlist magazine set to be published in January 2023.
To ensure fairness and transparency, the voting process for the upcoming awards will be audited by KPMG. BetConstruct will serve as the lead partner, with additional sponsorship from Upgaming, Wazdan, Amusnet Interactive, Bragg Gaming, Digitain, Evoplay, Softswiss, and Gamomat.
Winners of the Global Gaming Awards London 2023 will be announced at a private event at the Hippodrome Casino in London on February 6.
Previously, Novomatic's Novo Unity 2 platform was a finalist at GGA Asia 2022.
