Turning Stone Resort Casino has been named the best in New York by Casino Player Magazine, receiving a record 31 awards. This marks the eighth consecutive year the resort has taken the top spot.
Winners of the annual Best of Gaming awards are determined by visitors, who evaluate factors such as service quality, accommodations, unique amenities, and overall experiences.
Turning Stone Resort Casino excelled in several categories, being recognized as the best overall gaming resort and leading in various gaming options, including poker, bingo, craps, and table games. The resort's VIP area, hotel, pool, and spa also made it to the top of the list.
In addition to this prestigious recognition, Turning Stone Resort Casino announced a major transformation, the largest in its history, with a projected cost of $370 million (over 36 billion rubles).
As part of the upgrade, a state-of-the-art conference center spanning 7,150 square meters will be built, along with a new hotel, The Crescent, featuring 258 rooms. The project will also include a sports lounge and a seafood restaurant.
With the expansion and diversification of its business, the company is seeking new employees. The Turning Stone Hiring Expo will take place on August 22, 2023, for prospective candidates.
Ray Halbritter, a representative of the Oneida Nation and CEO of Oneida Nation Enterprises, commented on the recent developments: “We are incredibly proud of these awards, especially as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Turning Stone and embark on its largest evolution in the last two decades. The contributions of all our team members, regardless of where or how they work, have helped establish Turning Stone's exceptional standards for guest service. They will continue to help us elevate this standard for the next 30 years and beyond.”
In a noteworthy side story, two visitors at Grosvenor Cardiff Casino walked away with £38,000 richer.
