Winners of the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2024 Announced
The final list of winners was compiled based on research, consultations with independent industry experts, and the review of self-nominated candidates. The judging panel consisted of 35 industry executives with extensive knowledge and years of experience in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Casino Operators of the Year award went to Galaxy Entertainment Group and Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, with Sands taking second place and Wynn Resorts Macau coming in third. The best suppliers of gaming products for land-based casinos were recognized as Aristocrat Gaming, Light & Wonder, and IGT.
Awards for Corporate Social Responsibility were presented to casino operators Wynn Resorts, Sands, and Melco Resorts & Entertainment. Alejandro Tengco, Chairman and CEO of the Philippine regulatory body PAGCOR, was named Executive of the Year.
In the Integrated Resort of the Year category, Singapore's Marina Bay Sands emerged victorious, followed by Galaxy Macau in second place and South Korea's Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in third.
Maria Savova, the event manager for the Global Gaming Awards, stated, "Congratulations to this year's winners and all those who made the shortlist. As we always say, being nominated is a fantastic achievement in itself. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this year's awards ceremony. Our event dedicated to the Asia-Pacific industry has been held virtually for the past two years, so having it finally take place in person is a significant milestone."
Savova added that the Philippines is currently the most dynamic and innovative market in Asia, with both land-based gaming venues and online entertainment flourishing. Therefore, she emphasized the importance of hosting the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific in Manila.
It is worth noting that the Asia-Pacific gambling market is expected to grow annually by 6% through 2029.
