The platform GamblingSites has released a new report highlighting the most successful casinos in the United States based on visitor feedback. The study, conducted in August 2024, draws on reviews from TripAdvisor.
Analysts examined over 100,000 reviews of gambling establishments that included mentions of words such as "luck," "won," "victory," "winnings," "success," or "jackpot." This analysis resulted in a list of 20 casinos where guests most frequently reported feeling fortunate.
Topping the list is the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Oklahoma, boasting an average luck rating of 20.68%. In January 2024, this figure peaked at an impressive 33.6%.
In second place is the Seminole Hard Rock Casino Tampa in Florida, with 17.22% of relevant reviews, reaching a high of 22.2% in November 2023.
The Casino at Harrah’s Cherokee in North Carolina secured the third spot, with an average luck-related review rate of 13.86%, peaking at 17.3% in August.
Horseshoe Hammond in Indiana and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut rounded out the top five, with luck ratings of 7.73% and 7.57%, respectively.
GamblingSites analysts also identified the luckiest and unluckiest months for visitors to American casinos. January led the list with a luck-related review rate of 8.18%. November (7.86%) and May (7.66%) followed in second and third place. Conversely, December was the least favorable month for casino-goers, with only 6.66% of reviews mentioning luck.
Additionally, it's worth noting that the Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City has garnered 23 awards in the Casino Player Magazine rankings.
