A panel of experts from the media brand Travel + Leisure has named Wynn and Encore, operated by Wynn Resorts, as the best casinos in Las Vegas. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Wynn has received this honor.
Both properties feature expansive gaming floors, totaling approximately 180,000 square feet. Encore, in particular, offers guests 95 table games and 860 slot machines, along with the exclusive Sky Casino for high rollers. However, these venues topped the rankings not only for their gaming options but also for their extensive non-gaming amenities, including luxurious spas and fine dining restaurants. Together, the two resorts boast over 4,700 hotel rooms.
Also making the list of the city’s top ten casinos are Fontainebleau Las Vegas, the newest addition to the Strip, and Durango Casino & Resort, located in the southwest part of Las Vegas. Both establishments opened just a few months ago, with Fontainebleau securing the fifth spot despite fierce competition from other venues on the city’s main gaming thoroughfare. Durango claimed the eighth position, making it one of only two casinos outside the Las Vegas Strip to feature in the rankings, with Ellis Island taking seventh place.
The majority of the casinos in the rankings belong to the Strip's largest operator, MGM Resorts International. The Cosmopolitan came in third, followed by Bellagio in fourth, and Aria in ninth.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, managed by Apollo Global Management, ranked sixth, while Caesars Palace, owned by Caesars Entertainment, rounded out the top ten, making it the second-largest casino operator on the Las Vegas Strip.
Meanwhile, in Atlantic City, 15 individuals collectively won $1.5 million in a single day at the casinos.
